THE RIGHTEOUS PREDATOR

I have insight into the heart of evil, because, although, by the grace of God, I have been spared from an upbringing that would immerse me into the culture which would feed into it, I am, to a large extent, cut from the same cloth.

When a predator sees a grass eater, its instinct is to sneak up on it, tear its jugular, rip it limb from limb and consume it.

Now, we, as human beings, were designed to be predators. We have eyes on the front of our heads. We have digestive systems that can process meat. We have brains that operate more efficiently when we eat flesh. We were meant to hunt things, and tear flesh from bone. This is what we are. People can subsist on vegetables and be perfectly healthy, but in order to do so, they must eat a very wide variety of vegetables to get all the same nutrients; nutrients that we can get wholesale by eating raw meat (cooking meat damages its nutritional value, although it does kill anything it may be infested with).

I don’t say this to attempt to refute vegetarianism, which can be made to work, but merely to point out that, biologically, that is not what we are designed (evolved and/or created) to be.

All of that having been said, over time, civilization has successfully bred out the predator instinct from a large portion (the majority, I would say) of the population. We have relinquished our predator instinct in favor of a herd mentality. Rather than focusing on developing a relationship with a few strong people and subsisting by consuming the weakness out of the herd, our nature has been inverted to seek validation, comfort, and protection in large groups — the psychology of the herd; the grass-eater.

For those of us that are left, who have not succumbed to this, who are still capable of thinking for ourselves (another attribute associated with the predator-individualist), there is a strong psychological tension at work.

We see our fellow human beings, and we experience, on the one hand, a human fellowship, yet, on the other hand, we perceive in them (in their attitudes, values, philosophy, and psychology) the nature of herd.

We experience desires that offend our conscientious natures.

But those that fall prey to their desire to eat their fellow human beings ultimately becoming something else, entirely — they lose the predatory nature, and become parasites.

The nature of the predator is to take out the weak. This strengthens the herd. In corporate America, the healthy predator will frequently be in a managerial/executive position. If they are not, then they frequently experience alienation and frustration, since their coworkers will tend to have more of a herd mentality, which will be completely foreign to them.

The nature of the parasite is to take out the strong. Why? Because they have become accustomed to people willfully feeding themselves to them via the various fraudulent systems they’ve designed, and the self-confident, and intellectually independent strong (i.e., the predators) pose a direct threat to that system, which enables them to continue to enjoy a position on the top of the human food chain without having to work for it, or be worthy of it.

The entire system is unnatural, twisted, and unjust, and it undermines the viability of the human race by promoting weakness and the herd mentality. It is disgusting to independent thinker — as well it should be — and it is enabled by the philosophy of the city; the system whereby we huddle together into vast population centers until we are piled on top of each other like sheep around a shepherd; instead of being the rural, land-owning entrepreneurs we are supposed to be.

Do you hate Wal-Mart, Monsanto, MTV, and all of these unnaturally huge corporations that are making us weak and stupid?

I blame the herd mentality.

WOMAN MAULED TO DEATH BY DOGS: A VICTIM OF NANNY STATE AND OVINE CULTURE

Read more about it on News Talk ZB.

«Thirty-one year-old Chloe Mathewson died after being attacked by two dogs at Redvale in the early hours of Friday morning.

Her father Jim Mathewson says his daughter was a sensitive, caring and compassionate person — with a glorious sense of humour.

He says Chloe’s magnetic personality drew people to her, and she inspired others.

But Chloe Mathewson also suffered from serious addictions, he says.

In a statement on behalf of the family, Mr Mathewson says: «Chloe is our only much loved daughter and sister to Ben. She was a much wanted child.

‘I was present at her birth and gave her her first feed and we bonded forever. We called her Chloe which is Greek for «blooming, beautiful.»‘»

My thoughts: this is a horrific tragedy.  So very sad.

Yet, just imagine if it was both legal and routine in our country for woman to carry a small pistol?

She would probably still be alive.

EDITOR’S NOTE: Yes, she probably would be.  The statistics bear out the colloquial wisdom that more guns equals lower crime.

Some may argue she is a victim of too much liberty (with respect to dog ownership).  Others (like myself) can apprehend she is in fact a victim of «nanny state» legislation which not only has disarmed us all and left us defenseless against criminals and wild animals, but also has generated a sheepish culture, wherein the very idea of carrying a weapon for personal defense is considered to be virtually a deviant mentality.

EDITOR’S NOTE:

Thus, it is also a great tragedy to grasp just how far socialism has institutionalized our population. The very idea of being self reliant and bearing the means of self defense are completely alien concepts.

I’ll probably receive hate mail for making «political capital» out of this tragedy.

EDITOR’S NOTE: And the ones who make political capital by blaming dog-owners’ individual rights for the tragedy probably won’t. Tim Wikiriwhi is currently running for mayor of Hamilton, New Zealand as the Libertarianz candidate.

I tried Boundary Road Brewery’s Sticky Wicket manuka honey lager, and it tastes like fizzy manuka honey.

I tried Boundary Road Brewery’s Chocolate Moose chocolate porter, and it tastes like fizzy chocolate syrup.

These are not craft beers for the discerning adult palate, they’re alcoholic soft drinks for children. Notwithstanding that Boundary Road Brewery does make some half-decent beers (I already rated the Bouncing Czech pilsener, and the Mumbo Jumbo IPA is currently my preferred beer in its price range), I’m disappointed.

I suppose that if beer-flavored lemonade is your thing, you can’t go past the Lawn Ranger lemon and lime infused lager, but otherwise I wish BRB would stick to making actual beer.

THE FALSE STANDARD

Richard_NixonArticle by Barbara Cornell

Syndicated by Barbara Cornell’s personal blog.

August 15, 2011 was the 40th anniversary of our official abandonment of all pretense of having a gold standard.

And marks the last substantive opportunity to avoid our nation’s downward spiral into bankruptcy. (We’ve had times when our government voluntarily refrained from spending more than those of us who apply our efforts to useful production could compensate for, but they were brief, fleeting anomalies).

The reason being that once a currency has no inherent value, it can be manipulated and devalued by political machines.

But, in fact, gold itself is a currency with no inherent value.

Gold has always been a «false standard» because gold has no inherent value. You can’t eat it, can’t make shelter out of it, it’s too soft to make functioning tools or weapons. It has a few, limited industrial uses but few of them can’t just as easily be accomplished by other materials. Its only value lies in:

It’s pretty, it’s rare and difficult to get to and: people agree to take it in exchange for things that do have inherent value.

investing-in-goldThe fact that it has consistently for many centuries been widely accepted as a value holder is why it’s the standard. Gold’s increasingly «false standard» is displayed in its comparative «value» to silver better than anywhere else. Silver has exactly the same inherent value as gold (it’s pretty…), and for many centuries gold and silver held approximately the same «value» (people accepted gold in exchange for inherently valuable commodities at approximately equal or up to twice the rate of silver), but gold has been increasing in «value» much much faster than silver. (As of today, gold sells for $1818 per troy ounce and silver for $40, a differential of 45 times.)

The difference between gold and currency issued arbitrarily by an entity (currencies haven’t always been issued exclusively by governments) is that its perceived value has maintained its independence from policy makers and was one step removed from its direct manipulators.

The only thing that can assure a population’s currency is not subject to manipulation is direct barter. And that sucks.

For centuries, the next best thing was gold.

But nearly anything is better than letting the value of your entire life’s work depend on Ben Bernanke’s morning bowel movement being satisfactory.

TRAILBLAZING POLICE CHIEF, MARK KESSLER, TALKS GUNS AND FREEDOM

Article by Mark I Rasskazov.

The video above is the interview I had with Chief Kessler.  Once I got him talking, we ended up speaking on a number of subjects, where he cogently and succinctly explained his views on a number of political and philosophical subjects.

Some of the things we talked about:

c23838d5a26f73db2fd4ff5cb6c0bc2b_mooaObviously, the first thing we talked about was his interpretation of the second amendment, including his interpretation of the «Well regulated militia» clause.

We talked about the proper scope of responsibility of the government, given the constitution.

We talked about what prompted him to become so actively pro-constitutionalist on a national scale.

We talked about Obama and his policies.

We talked about Senator Feinstein and her Facebook page.

We talked about how he got banned from Facebook, and the new social networking site, Awareness Act.

We talked about Sandy Hook, and the parents’ response.

5e39a87359e4263c044f1cfa8dc40225_0h3sWe talked about how in most schools there are no armed guards, and how he was able to get it approved in his local school district.

He talked about his community in Gilberton, PA, and the relationship he has with his local government and his sheriff, as well as his take on Mayor Bloomberg and his ilk.

We talked about the responsibilities and attitudes of elected officials.

We talked about «illegal» guns.

We talked about gun registration and the Dick Act of 1902.

We talked about the Patriot Act.

06eac9103e93fcb297f012dfb200d2c2We talked about Congressional pay, the fact that they play the American people off of each other, and the fact that they vote for unconstitutional laws, as well as what we should do about it.

We talked about the possibility of a confrontation between the people and the government, including where he would stand, how many members of the government who would stand with the people, and how it would compare to the previous civil war.

We talked about the ATF and Waco.

We speculated on the possibility that the ATF’s classification of assault rifles as «machine guns» might represent a move to require a Class III Firearms License to own one.

We talked about the Supreme Court, the Constitution, the Law of the Land, and the legitimacy of the government.

3fc03d92b15b33efc249011d041b9892_o8fsWe talked about the possibility of impeaching president Obama.

We talked about the difference between a police chief and a sheriff, and why police chiefs are much more hesitant to come out publicly for the constitution.

We talked about the Constitutional Security Force, the civilian defense training organization, Fast Tactics, and his pro-freedom intelligence network, Oathbreakers.  We talked about violent crime, and how gun-ownership along with the proper training can help someone come out on top of a violent confrontation, and about how his Constitutional Security Force is partnered with Fast Tactics to provide training for private gun owners.

He closed with a call to action on the part of all liberty lovers to do their part to safeguard their freedoms for themselves, and for their posterity, and strongly reasserted the fact that our second amendment rights are the final safeguard of freedom against tyranny.
